Someone who works with the poor, the sick may experience negative emotions but may also feel satisfied with life because the work is worthwhile. in the same way people who spend lots of time engaging in pleasures may experience frequent momentary positive emotions, but they may also feel that life is empty and meaningless. so it is very important to be happy.
